Every Friday at 3:00, we invite parents or guardians into our classroom to read aloud to our class. You can sign up for a time anytime using the button above. You can bring your own book, have your child select a book for you to read, or simply read our class read aloud book. By reading aloud to our classroom, you are positively modeling for our class the importance of reading in everyday life. It is also an excellent opportunity to share your interest in reading and inspire our class to read!
One way that we celebrate the students in our class is through Paup-Star Spotlight! During their spotlight days, we spend time getting to know the child better. This is what to expect when it is your child's time in the Paup-Star Spotlight:
We love celebrating birthdays in our classroom, so please feel free to bring in an item(s) for the class to share when it is your child’s birthday. We do ask though that the items be store bought (with an ingredient label) to ensure safety for students with allergies. All snacks cannot contain peanuts to protect students with peanut allergies. If you would like to send a cookie cake, please make sure it is pre-cut. You may now also order treats through RevTrak. You are welcome to join us to celebrate your child during their class celebration at 3:00. I do ask that you contact me to schedule this a day or two in advance so that we can set up the best time for your to join us. Any students with a birthday during the summer will be celebrated in May. Our Class ContractWe can work together as a team to ensure that your child is successful in the future. Below are a list of class expectations that we agreed upon that you can utilize at home as well! 1) Be Respectful by:
